Meet Kendall from A Gospel Centered Life
Finding the gospel in the Word, the Home and the Culture.

Hello, I’m Kendall!
First things first. It is a crazy world out there and I don’t know what the future holds for any social media platform — especially with gospel centered content! But I can tell you one thing, as long as the internet is a thing, I will be sharing the gospel and hopefully inspiring and encouraging you to do the same here at A Gospel Centered Life. The only way you will for sure never miss out on these videos is by joining our email list (and I PROMISE we will not sell it or spam you!).
Welcome to A Gospel Centered Life, a place where I passionately share how to SEE the gospel on every page of the Word, how to APPLY the gospel to every aspect of your home, and how to use the gospel to IMPACT the culture for the glory of God.

My husband Kelly and I live on a friend’s 75 acres here in Oklahoma with our 5 kids, 3 dogs, 4 turkeys, 5 guinea hens, 6 ducks, 12 chickens, 22 pigs and 7 cows! We also have an adult daughter who came to our family through foster care that comes home often to visit…so there is as you can imagine never a dull moment here on the farm.
Both my husband and I were raised Christian and both grew up in Texas yet moved out to LA as young adults to pursue a career in film and television. And while we wouldn’t meet for years later at a church in LA, both of our stories up until that point were full of what we like to call the ‘drugs/sex/rock n roll’ lifestyle. We were both trying to find ourselves out in Hollywood and got lost along the way…very lost.
But God. That is my favorite phrase in Scripture. Because it pretty much wraps up not only my testimony of coming to Jesus but my daily sanctification journey. And Jesus did show up in mighty ways in both of our lives to draw ourselves back to Him…and through His church…drew my husband and I together. For more of our testimony and walking out of ‘that’ life and into the one He had for us, click here.
My husband and I continue to work in the entertainment industry producing content that puts the stories of Scripture on the screen…the real stories…the rated R ones…the ones with very broken people that mess up royally…BUT GOD uses mightily.
If you haven’t noticed…this is a BIG theme in my world. One that I am passionate about. How do we see the gospel in EVERY aspect of our lives? Because just like the gospel is on every page of Scripture, it is also written all around you if you would just open your eyes to see it. And when you can see it, you can apply it and you can use it to impact the world for the glory of God!
I often like to call the mission of this site and really my life’s mission as ‘Salty Grace’ from Colossians 4:6, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” I have a big personality with big thoughts and opinions. But I have learned over the years through a painful sanctification journey (that itself was a grace of God!) that while I was speaking gospel truth…if it’s not grounded in grace and love won’t be received. So this verse is a constant reminder yes make those words salty — the truth of God’s Word is salty — but His Word is also full of grace.
Thanks for being here and being interested in learning how to grow in the gospel. I am by no means an expert as I am daily learning new things as the Lord reveals Himself to me…but I hope that some of the things He’s taught me along the way would be an encouragement to you as you continue along your journey. Praise God that the Word is alive and active…always teaching…always reproving!
Excited for you to join me on this journey of living a gospel centered life together!
With salty grace,
Kendall
